A few days ago I read a book about EMP attack survival along with solar storms. Both are related events that involve powerful bursts of electromagnetic energy which can affect electronics. Its not a light subject for sure, but it is one that requires study and analysis.

While the title Disaster Preparedness for EMP Attacks and Solar Storms sounds daunting, the book itself is relatively short and understandable. It is just over 100 pages and can be read in a day or two, so its not an in-depth scientific publication. What is great about this book though is the author does a great job providing enough information and advice to be usable.

Dr. Bradley knows this subject well because he works at NASA studying this subject. In addition, he has written about other preparation subjects in a similar clear and concise manner. I like his approach and attitude as well, he is not an alarmist but does spell-out what can happen when the unexpected happens. His practical and actionable books are helpful resources that serious preppers should read and heed.

For less than $15 and a couple of hours reading you can become much more informed about electromagnetic events that can cause chaos in the connected world we live in. I strongly suggest that you get this book and apply it to your preparations today. Do it while you can because it is only a matter of time before one of these events occurs.
