Remember the post I wrote a while back about the entrenching tool? You can read that article again for a description of what an e-tool is, what I’d like to do in this post is describe what it can do for you. There are many uses for this trifold tool, some of which you might not expect.

This tool can perform a lot of different tasks including:

My recommendation is that you purchase Gerber (Fiskars) or Ames E-tools that are Made in America. They cost a bit more than the imported versions, but the materials and build quality is superior. There are reputable sells out there that purchase and recondition used e-tools from the US Military, which is how I acquired my Ames E-tool. If you haven’t purchased one already, please do because they are great to have.
