What happens when those who protect and serve are unable (or unwilling) to do so? For free people, that means bearing arms to protect yourself, your business, and your community. When law enforcement stands down, armed citizens need to stand up. Like this guy in Ferguson, MO.

Standing Guard
I don’t think this store is going to be subject to looting on his watch.
Civilian firearms ownership really comes in handy when things break down. Bad guys are going to take advantage of chaos and prey upon others during these times. Lets face it, in an emergency, police, and other first responders are not going to be available to assist. Being armed, trained, and prepared is a wise course of action in case this happens.
If your community experienced a period of civil unrest, would you be able to protect your life and property? If you aren’t sure, I encourage you to read other posts on this blog as well as some others to begin gathering information on how to protect yourself. As I am fond of saying, preparation is a process, not a destination so get started now. Civil unrest can happen and spread quickly with no warning, its better to be ready beforehand than get caught unprepared.
Stay armed, stay safe, stay free.
